LHC Piper Pacer Series Update & AP

Twice43

SOH-CM-2025
Is anyone else using the Lionheart Creation's Piper Pacer series in MSFS 2024?
It has just had an update & in testing the AP I have found that HDG, ALT & VS work ok, but I can't get NAV to take & hold the aircraft on the magenta flight plan line.
In fact, even though the the green light on the AP panel comes on when the NAV button is pushed, the mouse pointer hovering text still shows NAV as "off".
Has anyone got NAV working ok?
Thanks

Yes I have the Pacer series in FS24. There's still no Nav/GPS toggle switch and the AP is set to Nav mode by default.
You can get round this by assigning a key command to "TOGGLE GPS DRIVES NAV1".
I use Ctrl+G which doesn't conflict with anything else.

If you set up the above key command, does that allow you to have the AP follow the flight plan using the NAV button?

Yes it does, because it toggles from NAV to GPS mode (and back, when you press it again). You can even set up an Approach mode keystroke with Ctrl+A to capture a glideslope in NAV mode.

& it works!
Delighted, thank you.
Bill thought he had the NAV button coded for the NAV/GPS change, & he is now going to recheck that.
