For anyone who would like the DVD sets of Megascenery Earth for North Carolina and South Carolina for free just pay the postage to get them to you in the "lower 48", send me a Private Message with your address--city, state and zipcode and yoiur email address. I will wrap up and send them to you by USPS Parcel in a padded bag the cheapest way I know of. First come, first served. As of this Monday, I will be flying nothing but Prepar3D V4.5 and MSFS 2020 which they do not work on. Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah to ya'all.
 
I believe they are their first generation so it is possible so I asked the question of PC Aviator and also if it's ok for me to gift them. Should have asked them before I offered here. Sorry. If they won't let me I'll have to apologize and not do it. These are years older than what they offer now as V3 for FSX and P3D 1-4.

I believe it is as long as you delete that scenery from your pc. Copyright laws limit ONE software to ONE functioning pc. If a person buys new pc, then he or she is allowed to install same software into new pc AS LONG AS he or she retires the old pc OR delete from the old pc the specific software.

Thank you. I agree with that but since I sent them an email I will let them confirm that they approve of me gifting it since all these years they have been really good customer service whenever I had a problem.
 
Not having heard from them, I just sent another reaching out on their contact form. Will post here as soon as I hear from them. Hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving, we did.
 
I am still waiting for an answer from PC Aviator/Megascenery Earth. I wonder if they went away on vacation over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They usually are never this bad at answering. I will let you know as soon as I hear about whether it works in FS9. I agree with Aharon about if I don't use it any more on my computer, I can give it away.
 
AirBasil, can I ask a "silly" question? Why haven't moved over to FSX? Most if not all of your FS9 stuff should port over (or am I mistaken). I still have my FS9 Diskettes but they won't work on Windows 10 or I would check out if they work for you.
 
I know their customer support has been good, but it may be slowing down. If you aren't aware, Megascenery is going away into the sunset.

I closed my web stores 15 years ago along with the brick and mortar store of 30 years so I think he may look forward to free time but it is always hard.
 
After searching I found that North Carolina 6 DVD and South Carolina 5 DVD sets were designed for FSX/FSX Steam and will work on P3D V1,2 or 3 NOT for FS2004. Sorry Airbasil.
 
These are the earlier generation of Megascenery Earth so they are all photoreal Springtime, no other scenery textures. The newer generation of V3 have seasonal textures and you can get Nuvecta Autogen to make them 3D with trees and buildings. Get them bedfore they are all gone since as you can see above. Megascenery Earth is going away for good just like Blue Sky Scenery which also was so good in the FSX days.
