//42 Chase Plane Full Release

I bought ChasePlane last weekend on sale as I was very interested in the Pilot camera physics. I fly entirely in VR & could not get a definitive answer on if that part of the camera system worked in VR so I decided I would get it myself & see. At first I was a little disappointed as the pilot physics did not appear to work however after some play time I discovered that I needed to click a button to turn it on as it's not on by default. It works fantastically adding another extra layer of immersion to sim flying. Paired with FSRealistic it works really well & from what I have read FSR will become more dependent on ChasePlane in a future update/version. It is well worth the purchase just for the other cameras alone but now I actually know it works well in VR I can highly recommend it, dare I say it that it may be one of those must have addons, if not now in the future!

Last week I acquired Chase Plane for 2020 (that's why I'm posting here... and 2024 isn't out yet). It was on sale and the experimental version now supports Tobii eye tracker. I have not, however, installed it yet because I'm concerned about the impact on my other settings. Does anyone have experience with this s/w and how badly did it impact you upon first install? Other tips, tricks welcome. Thanks.
I have had no impact whatsoever apart from having to change my default MSFS camera buttons etc. It's a great app & the camera physics is really good, it's just a bit of a new learning curve exploring how it all works but it's not rocket science either. Use it!

Good to know about FSR as I use it regularly.

This exactly. I bought it recently based on the comments in this thread and it's a learning curve but now that I'm on top of that curve, it's been a great addition to the sim.

BTW, for the life of me I can't figure out which camera setting is the one that would allow you to look directly back at the airport you are landing or taking off from? It was very useful for landings not having to slew around to get a quick glance at the field to judge your landing. Does anyone know what key binding I'm referring to??
