FW 190 Update

Anyone notice after the latest update all repaints no longer appear or is it just me?

Not just you... way back I bought the Marketplace version (for some reason) and none of JanKees' repaints showed up.
The fix was to manually edit the appropriate cfg files back to the store version.
I've misplaced the email correspondence, but the nub of it was that ALL models would be updated to conform with the MSMM model.
That apparently has now happened, goodbye repaints.

"you have to change all references to the "flyingiron-fw190" directory to "flyingiron_fw190" in the CFG files.
For any given livery, that means : 1) in the aircraft.cfg, update the line beginning with "base_container"; 2) in the texture.xxx\texture.cfg, update any line starting with "fallback" containing the old "flyingiron-fw190" reference; 3) regenerate the "layout.json" in the upper directory of the mod by dragging & dropping it on the free "MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe" tool that's widely available.""
Haven't tried it yet.

So I have to update all 10 of my paints because they changed a dash to an underscore?

I’ve asked in the FI Discord to find out if it’s a deliberate change or a bug that’ll be switched back again.

Got a quick reply - it’s a deliberate change to do with Marketplace naming requirements, so it won’t change back again. Looks like we do need to update our liveries!

I don't go to that discord thing myself because i once asked why the tail light on the updated 109 is burning constantly and i have never got an answer on it.

The fellow who did the historic markings for the default ones does not seem to be active for a year now.
Is there a way to make the original to work. I have no idea what a json file is or how to create one.
