FS2024 SU6 Beta released

I noped out of the betas a while back, at least for the first month or two of them, because they break so much. Depends on how you use MSFS. If you like to explore and try new features, go for it. If you get frustrated because your favorite plane stops working for two or three weeks, maybe not.

But somebody's gotta test this shiz. So hope some of y'all sign up for it. :) And I thank you for your service!

one article said "As with every beta cycle, some third-party tools are already misbehaving, with Chaseplane and Flow among the early casualties. The standard advice stands: move your community folder out before updating, and remember that opting into the beta is entirely optional. If SU5 taught us anything, it’s that these cycles can run long, and occasionally slip at the finish line."

But at least there is a SU6 final that will be available and hopefully soon.

I am in the process of booting up 2024 for the FIFTH time today. Am attempting to update all the packages, and AS USUAL, the sim is hanging up, crashing, etc. I remain loyal to 2020. 2024 is STILL a POS. NC:mad:

Yep, wasted a whole day trying to install Base Content, it would hang at 99%, I left it like that over an hour the first time and had to shut it down. Tried about 4 times and gave up. The update process for this game is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in computing in a while. It's heinous.
