Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

General thoughts on the new Infinity T-38N/F-5B? I never purchased their T-38, as I ended up buying the Blackbird model instead. Does the T-38N/F-5B still have the wonky installer?
TIA

Yessss!!! I spent 30 mins trying to get it to install and authenticate yesterday. Now maybe it is me? At almost 79 I do not assimilation new tech as well as before. But, the installer kept not finding the correct location, I have installed it on a different drive, still for all the hoops it made me jump through, you would think it would be smart enough to find the correct location. If others start follow Infinity, I may not be buying many new aircraft.

Yeah, that installer has kept me from buying any of these. Not to be a heretic but (gasp) given the alternative, I wish they'd just release these in the freaking Marketplace.

I despise ANY type or attempt on DRM of any kind.
