Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated Tom Clayton has offered to post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

I can see the repaints in the Library but have signally failed to find the base model. I'm assuming this is a flightsim.com problem, I know DM used to post a lot there, but if somebody can point me in another direction I would be very grateful.

Please check the readme of the file before sharing it. Even freeware is copyrighted.

Of course what you people do privately is your business, but please don't do so on SOH.

In order to avoid ruffling any feathers I will decline Lucb's kind offer but, thank you, it was appreciated.

I’m quiet sure the Walrus is freeware. I got it on flightsim.com. But I can’t remember if there was some restriction about redistribution. I’ll check and report.

Andy, PM me with your e-mail address.

The irony of the above stipulation by David Molyneaux is he is assuming you can remember the site you downloaded it from...:oops::ROFLMAO::rolleyes:

That's why you will only find my work (along with the LDR Development team) here at SOH. If you see any of my stuff anywhere else it's pirated! One source for all files. It just makes it easier for me to manage.

Indeed. With David Molyneaux I remembered that he loaded to Flightsim after the demise of The Pond, but with others I would have no clue.
