They always do this....
It seems kinda patronizing to me that the USAF would make such a big deal out of these things. I see all female crews more often than you'd think, and our major flying squadron commander is a woman.

Yep you're correct, quite a few all female aircrews out....

You know what else I don't like?
I've heard a rumor that the girl on your poster, Nicole 'Malachowski' (or some similar last name) was fired from the thunderchickens for fraternization. Everything I read shows her serving her full two year commitment honorably; and believe me, I searched the internet far and wide. One of the instructors in ALS even taught that she had been fired. If this was not just a rumor, and this many people know, wouldn't there have been a news story? It's a shame that we either patronize or badmouth women. That's someone's wife, and someone's daughter.

Now then, depending on your job & your location, yes we comm folks do have crews complete with a crew commander.
And...yours truly here :d ... was the first operations instructor qualified individual and subsequently the first ever Stan/Eval Examiner
