Is Firefox slow for anyone else?

after the most recent update it seems to be crawling for me. It's also crashed several times. I disabled all add-ons and still no joy, so I downloaded "Google Chrome" and am liking it so far. Anyone else seeing these problems?

Upgraded yesterday and no problems.

I used spybot s&d but only had one problem...any other software suggestions ?

Mine slowed down a tad after the updates, but just a hair and this comp is 7 years old so I'm not too worried about it.
