• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Nice work Nigel. For the PR version it shouldn't have the guns btw, only the very later ones were armed. The ports were riveted over with aluminium and filler.
 
It's a PR.MkIG, so as far as I can tell, it should have it's full armament. I'm open to being proven wrong, but I think I'm right... Hence the choice of aircraft!

Yep, sorry you're right of course Nigel, I should have checked, it is indeed a 1G. Must remember to not trust my memory when posting!

Surprise??? This IS the Just Flight/Aeroplane Heaven one. Not the BoB one. Check and make sure - the skin layout is virtually identical to the AvHistory/ZUYAX/MAW MkVb.

I wouldn't even say "virtually identical", I would say "exactly the same" because it really tells a lot more. Hair splitting aside, the skins bring new variety to the reasonably dull Spitfire fleet of mine. One for the artist! :friday:
 
Well, once you've drawn in the gun bays and so on, it's "virtually identical" - but you're right.

Glad you like them. I need the encouragement to go ahead and do the B scheme...

I think you may find either 2 different textures in the same folder or maybe that is the old "AI" Spit from the payware BoB(?)
