Luddite in Training
I just finished uploading RAF Oban to Avsim and Flightsim. It didn't come out too bad...just my opinion though...:jump:

Should be available "soon?"

Enjoy!

Jim

There was a glitch over at Avsim...they want me to re-upload, but I can't even get into their file system now. Nels will probably have it up today at Flightsim.com, and I guess I'll get it out to simiviation today as well.

Thanks, Guys. There are actually four complete sets of scenery in the download. If you're a Scotflight user, there is a 1940's and a modern version for that and if you're not, there is a modern and 1940's version for the default scenery.

The version for the Scotflight scenery compensates for the more accurate shorelines and more accurate terrain.

Enjoy!

Jim

Jim, got her earlier today at Flightsim and was thinking the same thing. I watch the Aerosoft site daily just waiting for the Catalina. Now I have several of your sceneries to fly the PBY to and from. Thanks a million.

OK, Henry, what scenery add-on's are you running? It looks like you have the small detached island on the Oban side tip of Kerrera (which default doesn't have), you're using the scotflight version of the scenery, but the shorelines are not lining up...also the landclass is different than either the default or scotflight.

I can send you a special cvx file without the shorelines which would make it look better.

Jim

Jim,
I don't know about Henry but some of us will be using UTX Europe. The Scotflight is nearly right for UTX but is there a better version?

thats default version of your scenery
i do not have the scotflight scenery
could be a mesh thing?
H
willing to help

No, I didn't do new shorelines for UTX europe. The Scotflight ones should be pretty close (they did a georeferenced shoreline, apparently just not the same ones UTX did). If someone could send me an overhead picture of Kerrera (as large as possible) with UTX I could put a new shoreline together. LOL...shorelines are always a mesh thing. My email is in the readme file.

Thanks,

Jim

I seem to have a different problem - I have no static Catalinas. I installed the degor40 option and tried putting OBAN at the top of my scenery.cfg file but it didn't help. Is there another file I should have?
