Heres the cottage we stayed in, think the area was called new bridge, aout 6/7 miles from spean bridge and a good 20 from fort william

Ben Nevis range from the Commando memorial, really is a great place for a memorial, deffenitly worth a vist if you go.

I think that last Castle was where they filmed the Highlander Movie back in the 80's

me dad said something similer as well, i've never seen it so i dont know, didnt see anything at the visitor centre though.

we dont know! we where suprised it was sunny (ish on 2 days) all the time, even got a tan!!! felt kinda stupid with all the waterproof stuff we took up with us expecting rain:isadizzy:

If you had not brought along the waterproof stuff, you would have been soaked. Whenever I go into New York, I always bring an umbrella to make sure that the sun will shine.....:icon_lol:

I will refrain from too much comment but, dear Stiz, Skye always has, and always will have , an 'e' on the end !

The castle, by the way is Eilan Donan. Or was until my American sister-in-law saw it. It is now officially called Katie's Castle.

And Stiz, I went to Scarborough once, It wasn't Fair. It pissed down for two days.....

Glad you had a nice trip. Next time you come up I'll tell you the real places to go. ;)
