• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

help needed

One thing I note...on all the successful uploads the pics do not open a new window. A long time back my uploads worked like the ones here, where you could click the thumbnail & it would enlarge right there. That changed for some odd reason I never could figure out, and for months all of my uploads have opened a new window. Now I get 'upload failed' along with the others, and I tried using an image that worked before...
interesting!

OK, three sizes same pic:

2000X1600

just shoot and end this missery, I just cannot figure out why some can and most cannot.
I have been over everything 10 times and still cannot find a problem

LOL....Let me ask you guys something. Are you trying to upload these shots from the FSX snap shots or from something like Photobucket and pasting the upload.Ickie...hang in there we can fix this small issue...you need to take a break...ya been work 24/7 on this mess..Mike
Thank You hey moe. Them two USCG merlin pics make perfect wall paper.

Hey Ron, it seems anyone can post a shot if they use Photobucket or another host and then do a copy and paste of the URL.For some reason if ya use the program in one of the Flight Sim's it won't post those shots...Mike

I'm using the "Manage Uploads" box when I get the error message. When I paste the ["img"] tags form the photo service, the code from vBulletin is bypassed to a large extent.

I've gone back in this thread and can't find a pattern to why some can and some can't. That'll drive you crazy.

Via Photobucket...

An 800 X 640 jpg failed for me. Been trying off an on since soh came back on board without success. Went thru manage attachments, located file and the file seemed to upload as usual but did not register as an attachment. Good luck administrators finding a solution.

Sorry Ickie...get some rest. We'll make it ok. I can no longer edit any past posts, although it let me edit this one.
