There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

yup i thought that alsoMayhaps it would be a good idea to set up a dedicated section in the library to store the 1% aircraft...like there is with the Alpha Oldies and FDG planes. That way, all the 1% planes will be in one area and not listed under the names of a couple dozen different members.

thats an excellent ideaMaybe it would be a good idea to wait until after everything is back to 100% with the server before beginning the 1% uploads. That way, a dedicated section of the library can be set up...but by waiting until everything is hunky dory with the server it won't be adding to the work load of our already over-worked staff and admins.
I know that I have a pile of things ready to upload, but am holding off until the all clear is sounded on the server issue.

I suggest one person be the "upload administrator" of the collection.
This person can first compile a list of all the 1% aircraft and auxilliary files, then collect these files from the members upon his request, organize, zip and upload them when the server is ready for them. This person can also insure proper acknowlegement for the authors of the files.
This would prevent a hogepodge of redundant or partial uploads to the library, and would provide a single source for needed updates or corrections to the library.
