Wings Of Power on CFS2?

If you have wings of power installed on Fs2004/Fs2002 is it possible to get the planes to work on CFS2? (Just you have to program in the guns)

It is possible to get FS2002 and 2004 planes to work in CFS2. It does take some work, and is not always worth the effort unless you are looking for a nicely detailed plane to use as your plane, as most planes for FS2002/2004 are not multi-LOD and not really usable as AI.

First you need to use Ivan Hsu's MDLC to convert the MDL file to CFS2 format and to fix the animation coding within the MDL.

Then you need to either tweak the airfile and config file to work within CFS2, or create new ones, or find CFS2 native air and config files and tweak them to fit the converted model.

Then you will generally have to replace all the gauges (or most at any rate) because many FS2002 and 2004 gauge will not work in CFS2.

One some FS2002/2004 planes, you will have to convert the skin textures to work in CFS2 to prevent the planes from being partially see through.

Then you will have to find or develop a DP file for the converted planes.

I have converted a number of planes to CFS2, and not a single one of them is really usable as AI...decent for player aircraft not worthless as AI. The only conversion that I was a part of is the Mig-19...and only because Tango Romeo created a flight dynamics set and a DP file for that plane that make it top notch.
