Help!!!

When I fire up my FS9 there is no sound.....
when I try to watch a news video - no sound....
when I try to play a music CD I get the following :

Audio device error
Video cannot be displayed because no audio device has been detected.

My Device Manager tells me everything (sound card & speakers) is working fine AND music that I've recorded to my hard drive comes out loud and clear......:isadizzy:

Anyone have any suggestions ???

Thanks, LD

go back into youe divice manager and click on the soukd, and roll back the driver.
MS has a bad thing going and sometimes updates your drivers, and sometimes the sound driver is the wrong driver, and it will show up as it is fine

if it wont let you, just remove the driver and re install from your instalion CD/DVD
