yeah its one of yago9's try searching for it in the googlebox below search flanker repaint and it should be the top one unfortunately i think there is only 1 photo-repaint of the flanker series tho!!
P.S. these are hard gets to fly well so much power and very easy to stall shows i havent flown them both for a couple of years still its nice to get back to them hope to see a 33 fix soon for that throttle problem!

Its a crying shame about that damn vc problem tho heres some pics!

Replaced the air.cfg file for these birds as well. The power is reduced to more flyable limits and the aircraft agility is much improved.
For the SU-27's a lot of repaints are available at FSdotcom, done by Mike Pierson :ernae:

Myself and Warchild were having a play with the -33 FDE at some point, getting it all sorted for what she really can do, think we may have to revisit it Pam:ernae:

Try www.flightsim.com

Type in Flanker and you will find :ernae:

You will also find a good Flanker package (without VC), which air.cfg you can use. Other thing, you can ideally use these birds for AI as well.

That is sexy.

No argument.

I love Russian jets :ernae:

you'd be surprised how agile this thing is, Pam and myself were looking at diagrams of fuel tank locations, and the structore of it, so as to determine its natural CoG, from that we examined wing area, and tail area (included canards in that) and we looked at MTOW and engine performance, she's stilla loong way from perfect BUT i believe if Pam and i jump back on this one, it'll open the FS Flight Dynamics just that bit more....

Why do the russians paint their cockpits " nice sky blue" ????....or "baby Blue"????..freaky or what????...they look "lady like"...:mixedsmi::mixedsmi::mixedsmi::mixedsmi::mixedsmi:

maybe its to calm them down so they don't end up doing a cobra at very low level.... thats just plane fatal:icon_lol: excuse the intentional pun

because they are nice colors!

My personal f-18:

Warrant did you manage to sort the cockpit issue on the 27? Or is it the only the 33 you worked?

RGR that chief!! Thanks.
P.s. I take it, its the Bob Chicilo, flanker model .air file I need...
and at can u send me the smoke system ref over here for the air .cfg files for the Su27 plz!!
Ohh yeah and that f18 cockpit is sh*t mate looks dreadfull..plus I think they paint there cockpits that colour so it doesn't reflect light but also blends into the camo of the aircraft so it isn't a black spec which can give ya position away, I mean why else would they paint there cockpits duck egg blue lol..its not because it looks good.. russians are always function before form if you know what I mean!

P.s for you acceleration users i wouldn't mind flying flankers with ya u never know we could be the next Russian shi*es ohh yeah I mean knights!!

::chuckles:: already there.. but i'm stepping back to basics and working it one small baby step at a time.. That fde that you have in the vids turned into a rather large disaster, and i realized that if i'm gonna do this, i gotta start with the basics and learn from there. Just like sukhois engineers did.. Oh also, the panel for the su-35 which is more in my modeling interest, is a full ghlass panel, looking like a G-1000 or something. quite advanced..

Matt,, meet me over at JFTC, and we'll take it from there. would be thankful to have your eyes back on it..

:::LOL:: indeed.
I love the russian knights liveries. they're gorgeous, as is sukhois own livery, but truth told, i never fly my own planes after they're done... I'm actually quite tired of seeing them and then too, i always keep my work schedule filled.. that protects me from people finding out just how bad i am at formations and multi player missions ::lol:;...

no, it's noty. it's the original alphasim model being redeveloped for the VUSN with the authors permission, to be used as aggressor aircraft at their flight school..
the thing is, the f-18 and f-14 just arent up to taking any of these guys on. Not even the F-22 stands a chance.. To start with, the optical systems used on these planes makes our doppler radar look blind. They litterally see us a long time before we know they are there..
i would refer all to this interview with Mikail Simonov ( the father of the flankers ) http://vayu-sena.tripod.com/interview-simonov1.html
