Buzz Sherwood from the Red Green Show and his plane

So I was flying around in Carenados Cessna 172 on floats yesterday and my immediate thought was the red green show.

I think only a select canadians may know this show, but its the handy mans secret weapon.

So my thought Was Buzz sherwood (peter wildman) who co wrote the show and has a very big history in Canadian Television. I Searched him down and he did not have any pictures of the plane used, but he is putting me in contact with someone. and all i have is this Really small photo to go on.

"Buzz Sherwood is the local bush pilot and resident hippie. Buzz is a happy-go-lucky guy who has a tendency to greet people physically - with a punch in the arm or a head butt. Buzz still thinks he's the youth of this country and it's still the '60s, with sex, drugs and rock 'n roll." - Also Me!

Its really a concept of what I remember from the show.

Enjoy!

I miss Red Green....I was a huge fan and even contemplated joining the fan club at one point.

Somewhere around here is a photo of my patent automatic baby feeder I made one night when my daughter was 6 about months old (she's 16 years old now). I used the handyman's secret weapon (duct tape) to fix a baby bottle to her rocker chair at mouth level so she could just lean forward slightly and feed herself leaving me free to do other things when I was left on babysitting duties. :icon_lol:

p.s. It was all done for a joke...honest!

I grew up watching the Red Green show in Texas, so it definitely made it's way out of Canada! Good stuff that, and very impressive paint. You sure did a number on the interior.

More duct tape! Really, Red would want you to plaster tape all over the plane, inside and out. I think there should also be much more junk around the inside of the cabin:applause:. Maybe even Harold in the back looking like, well...Harold.

currently working on more duct tape, Added some major Cracks to the dash and working on a big boot print like he kicked the dash. Adding more Tape to the outside.

Then I plan on making a scenery in Ontario near Hamilton where they filmed the show of the possum lodge with junk cars and junk everywhere.

Wow, "dreamer" Seriously Harold, in the back seat. This is a Carenado plane I don't have the model to make Harold!

Still looks to clean. I was also going to modify the leather in the floor too look like Rust holes in the floor.

Looking good....but those cans on the floor should be Labatt's Blue or Molson Canadian eh not Coke and Fanta!

Got some work to do on the front tires but its getting their!

Anyone here want to help re-create the Possum Lodge and scenery let me know, I think I'm going to be working on it for a while. Got a slice of land all ready to be possum's up.
