• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I don't know if I can trust the ETO expansion...

My Avira Antivirus found the BDP Zapper and the ZX Zapper, and some other ETO files as trojans and other stuff so I uploaded the files to Virus total (a website that scans the uploaded file with bunches of antivirus programs) and these are the results.

BDP Zapper: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/...42077a58be3d22cfcb7188251019f5c5c4-1245439859

ZX Zapper: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/...9630045251e25baa851946b781f38514d1-1245440646

The Backup.exe also has similar results: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/...3a5ffd96ab490d4456bb4b7fd8847ca779-1245440817

Any thoughts on this???

Don't let it worry you; mine does the same. They are guaranteed not infected! At least, if you've downloaded them for the proper place. It's a misidentification, that's all. I'm using Avira; I understand other anti-virus products have the same problem.

Fine, then you've got the real thing - not that I'd imagine that there is a "perverted" version. You'll be fine. Just tell the antivirus to ignore it.

I guess but, its a little unnerving that several antivirus products are all detecting the same thing...

Unfortunately false positives happen every now and then, I can guarantee you that the file that comes down from the server is virus free, an automated check runs on all files from the OZx site every 48 hours. When you have a look at those links that you put up, different programs giving different read-outs, sure sign of a false positive.

EDIT Ran a manual scan on the file on the server and 100% clean.. guaranteed
