Porter Paints

I've been long planning on doing paints for it and maybe will get to business if I get some shortcomings of the kit sorted out. The current paintkit has a very stupidly done details layer...

There's nice collection of repaints in FSD site. Also some great paints can be found here: http://www.the-pegasus.com/

Thanks, Bushpilot. I took advantage of the sale at FSD and got all three versions (wheels, skis, amphib) for the price of one. Sadly, only three paints, one for each wersion, are included. Nice aircraft, though. I'll wait in line for any paints you decide to share.:applause:

I really think this one is crying out for the Air America repaint from the movie with Mel Gibson.....I soooooo love this freaky little plane...:applause:

Yeah, I've got the landplane, and was surprised when it only came with one paint "World Explorer". I might be able to dodge the details layer issue by doing photoreal paints. One paint in my to do list is this newer version of "Swissboogie".

Air America paint can be downloaded from FSD site. And yes, it is such a fun plane to throw around.:running::running:

Are these Porters native FSX or FS9 models that are FSX "compatible"? The FSD site is a little unclear.

Yes they are compatible only, but I would say "very compatible:mixedsmi:". No issues here since I only use DX9 mode.

One developer stated in their support forum that there may be future update to FSX native model.

They are good ports and I still fly them often enough. Handles very well in X, but they could do with a full makeover - although this isn't that necessary.
