Coastal Command Beaufighters for ETO v1.20 by BeauBrummie & Led Zeppelin

Good Morning Gentlemen (well for me at GMT+1 it is),

I have just uploaded the Beaufighter mission pack to my website (link in sig below). Featuring North Coates Strike Wing missions by me and two historical 248 sqn missions by Led Zeppelin. Included in this pack are: The eight missions, a PDF Manual & History, and a zip file of spawns needed for missions.

North Coates Strike Wing was created in '43 as a response to the crippling 25% losses Coastal Command suffered on anti-shipping missions in '42. Key to the success was the Beaufighter. Cannon armed (and later rocket) Flakbeau's were to distract the defences from the Torbeau's attacks. As they learnt from the disastrous first mission, timing is everything. Eventually the Strike Wings would be efficient ship killing machines. But losses were still taken. NC Strike Wing was the largest anti-shipping force of World War II accounting for 150,000 tons of shipping and 117 vessels for a loss of 120 Beaufighters and 241 aircrew.

Led Zeppelin's missions feature two of the few Free French pilots to serve with Coastal Command: Max Guedj and Claude Serf. Loic provides a detailed history of each pilot in the overview of his missions.

I've also updated the ships pack to include some of the non ETO ships used in the Beau missions.

Thank you all for your kind comments. The timings to get all the Beau squadrons were they should be and the AI to do what it should (ish) was hard, but I had good advice and support from the testing team.:icon29:
