The movie, "Eye of the Tiger" = Gary Busey

I watched it last night on Netflix. Have seen it before, but you know how it is; you always miss things.

I've always liked most of Gary Busey's movies. His acting is usually very good, and "Eye of the Tiger" is full of action too.

Yaphet Kotto plays a local cop on the verge of retirement. At first he is reluctant to help Busey fight the bad guys, but does anyway. My favorite part in the movie is when Yaphet Kotto gets in his bi-plane and drops TNT and grenades to the James Brown tune, "Gravity". So cool.

The movie's theme song by Survivor would make a great flight sim video song: "Eye of the Tiger".

PS.You sure they were frogs...and not those butt ugly toads? Don't get me started on them!!:bump:

When he's playing somebody other than psycho villains, Gary Busey is a pretty good actor. :d He did a super job as rocker Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story, also in The Rough Riders where he played a much older guy, former Confederate Gen. "Fighting Joe" Wheeler. That flick is worth renting just to see Busey as tough old Wheeler, Tom Berenger also did a good job as Teddy Roosevelt.

Maybe not a great movie, but I liked "Under Siege". Busey's character was a little strange (like he is). Steven Seagal makes some hokey flicks, but I like watching them. My wife can't stand him though. NC

When I think "Eye of the Tiger" I think Rocky whatever number it was...132 I think.

My favorite Busey movie is, and always will be, Silver Bullet. That is a classic, and part of our DVD collection.
