• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

when you take a screen shot, pause the sim and after several seconds the text will disappear, also this gives the sim time to catch up drawing all the textures ect

Oh, excellent. I didn't even think to pause it and let it catch up with the loading of textures *slaps forehead*

However I still would like to permanently get rid of the red text in the corner, is there a way to do this?

there must be a way of setting it in the fs9/fsx.cfg I did this with the brakes and overspeed warnings
 
Hi guys great to see the site back up and running, while we were away loads of great mirage III repaints appeared at flightsim.com, now I can't put it down!!!

Just a little cropping, then 'levels' adjustment, a bit of gaussian blur, followed by some unsharp masking in Photo Shop. Nothing special.

Nice shots all ! I prefer no more than 1024 for my postings but you can sure go for larger than that..
 
lots of great shots guys, they just keep getting better and better!

I can't stop flying around Switzerland at the minute, In my opinion its the best looking scenery made to date!

Anatol I just love that Tomcat shot, it looks so real, if I didn't know that it was fsx I think I would have!

@ Bruce448 where did you get that Russian fleet from...I want it also lol.
