Aero L-39 Albatros

is the Lotussim site & board down ?

Yes, sorry, my web host in Toronto has been having issues yesterday and today, up and down a lot. Grrr... Not the best timing! :)

Hopefully it will be back up soon.

The white and yellow L-39V paint is looking great, though if you read about what it was used for (target tug) I certainly wouldn't be volunteering to fly it. "So I'm going to fly this L-39 and my squadmates are going to shoot at a big yellow target 1 km behind me on a tow rope, one that just happens to look a lot like my plane? No thank you!"

That version didn't have cockpit pressurization either due to the target line spool in the rear cockpit, so it would have been reaaallly loud inside.

i wonder if some one can do the firecat paint

that beautyful red & yellow livery shouldnt be to hard for an expirienced repainter
I think it will be done sooner or later ;)
