Thanks very much for all your efforts with freeware aircraft. Given the tough times and proliferation of mediocrity in some payware models, your high standards go a long way toward preserving some no cost sanity in the FS world. I admire greatly people who give their time and efforts freely - this msg in response to your latest offering as well as all your previous models.

To be completely honest with you - as some would never buy a tube liner, I on the other hand would probably never buy a military model. ( I get great enjoyment out of GA aircraft and the tube liners.) Because your military model is free, if gives me the chance to take it for a spin without spending dollars.

And the good news is that the J-21 used the same engine as the BF 109G so suitable sounds should be there somewhere :)
Of course... then there is the problem that the J-21 has its engine and prop pointing behind instead of ahead...hmmmm problem​
 
I kind of like the gun effects. Great for expressing anger at fraked up LOD models...

Mmm something not right with that light setup.
For me the light cast on the ground looks very strange, like a series of multiple ovals shapes in some odd pattern instead of a solid form.
 
Alex that pattern you are seeing on the ground is modeled in. Tim's J-21 config has no entries for landing lights. If you delete

light.4 =5, 4.5, -6.0, -2.15, fx_shockwave_landing_light_tail_old,
light.5 =5, 4.5, 6.0, -2.15, fx_shockwave_landing_light_tail_old,

from the above config you will still see that pattern is still there but the yellowish tint from the shockwave lights will be gone along with the 3D effect.

Just have to live with it I think. I'm still figuring all this FSX stuff out so if I'm inaccurate in anyway please let me know people.
 
I can confirm 2Low: the shockwave's lights are configured over modelled landings lights.
I like the 3D effects and I do not worry about the original pattern, but this is my personal opinion...

Luca I kept the landing lights too as they give the 3D effect, makes it more realistic. I think I'm going to have to get a BF 109 so I can alias the sounds. I have the IRIS Hellcat sounds on it right now for fun but it feels wrong:icon_lol:.
