Who would have thought. This reminds me of Blade Runner and Terminator.
In Blade Runner, the androids are so realistic that they have to design them to only live 6 years, and with some, the only way you could find them is to give them a psych test to see if they had empathy, (love or care), which if it didnt, ZAPPPPO! (if it was being hunted down, rogue unit that did damage to humanity, etc).

That is a brilliant movie! Love the Audi sports car with round wheels.
I'm putting my money on it being more of a Terminator scenario.

The Skynet Funding Bill is passed. The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.
