Does anyone here really know how to use it? There's no manual or checklists like i've had with other Captainsim products. I bought this product knowing that there would be no support, so I'm asking here while I wait (probably forever) for my reply.

I kinda get it by screwing with it, but I can't get it to hold a course, only headings. Also the altitude hold is very odd.

I want to load a flight plan with FSX's flight plan builder and do a GPS coupled course. Anyone?

There's 3 part pdf manual that should describe all systems, I don't remember if it's with the installer of if you have to download it separately from their site.

The autopilot has no LNAV o VNAV capability, it can't intercept altitute, only hold current one. But tracking VOR or LOC works for me, although I prefer using turn knob and pitch command (pity the turn knob can't be assigned to rotary axis on joystick like in 377), and I fly approaches manually.

I can't get it to hold a course to a navaid, either. I looked in FSX/Captainsim, I looked in my start menu and I looked int he aircraft's folder. All showed no manual. I guess I have to download it. Possible YEARS of development and incredible artwork.......and no checklists or reference guides on most releases these days. What gives?

The sounds were a dissapointment too. Most of them were default 737 fare. Unfortunately, I didn't know there were Attendant and Captain announcements, and I already swapped the config out when I put in TSS's freeware 727 sounds.

Then next question is: have you installed latest patches?

Soundpack was introduced later after release. Weird, I know.

I bought it today.:kilroy:

It had a unique sound config, but alot was aliased.

As Mike pointed out, there are 3 manuals available for the 727. You just have to download them from the captainsim website.....

Mike didn't point that out....

He said he didn't recall where exactly they came from, and said it was a three part manual, not three manuals.....
