Ms.760 Paris Jet?

If anyone is interested I added A2A lights to the Paris Jet. Here are my configs:
[lights]

//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing

light.0 =1, -17.990000, 0.000000, 4.930000, fx_shockwave_beaconh //fx_beacon
light.1 =1, 1.150000, 0.000000, -1.750000, fx_shockwave_beaconb_nl //fx_beacon
light.2 =3, -18.820000, 0.000000, 0.452000, fx_shockwave_navwhi //fx_navwhi
light.3 =3, 3.300000, -15.820000, 0.938000, fx_shockwave_navred //fx_navred
light.4 =3, 3.300000, 15.820000, 0.938000, fx_shockwave_navgre //fx_navgre
light.5 =5, 13.55, 0.00, -0.1250, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_old
I also felt that those 50's jet engines would be smoky old things so I added some smoke . If you want smoke too add the following after the [lights] section above:
[smokesystem]
smoke.0 = -10.00, -1.30, -0.60, fx_smoke_f6
smoke.1 = -10.00, 1.30, -0.60, fx_smoke_f6
NOTE: This calls the smoke effect used on DG's freeware Hunter. If you do not have that excellent aircraft then you will have to substitute 'fx_smoke_f6' with a suitable effect file that you do have.

The smoke is turned on/off with the 'I' key as per normal operation.

A true artist who keeps getting better, beautiful job Tim, gotta try a photoreal on this baby, you always have a great texture layout! :applause::applause::applause:

I'm still not seeing NAV1/COM1 - the radio switch is on, and the master battery is on. What am I missing?

Yep, my apologies, I took a quick look once the battery was on and just assumed both sets were up. In that case. . .no, you aren't the only one, lol.

For sounds I reckon either the sound of the Magister availabe here:

http://www.restauravia.com/page31.html

Had the same thought earlier but that one doesn't have a soundset; it's aliased to the default Lear!

For a realistic soundset, get Mikko Maliniemi's old Fs2002 Fouga from Avsim and use the sounds included (Made by Mike Hambly) Search for Foufinn1.zip.

Warning: The real Fougas/Paris uses two Marboré engines which produce a high pitched whine which is loud and annoying. Mike captured this very well!

BTW: Great aircraft Tim! :applause:

Ok, here's what I have after going into FSPanel Studio and checking the VC gauges. . .that one was missing. So I pointed it to the Bendix Comm/Nav Radio correctly and got what you see here. I've attached the panel.cfg file. Try that and see if it works.

Ooops I guess I was wrong too as I am only seeing NAV2/COM2 active! :isadizzy:

Strangely the pop-up radios (Shift+1) are showing both active.

Ok,
After looking at the original and the current one I did, the problem was a typo in the original:
gauge00=Bendix_king_radio!Bendix-King Radio Audio, 6,2,246,47
gauge01=Bendix_king_dark!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 1, 274,6,213,78

lol, so you can fix it easily by just correcting that typo

Yep, must be the same one being used with the freeware Venom that was posted here a few weeks ago because that's the sound I opted for and it is indeed an annoying high pitched sound. . .very much like the Tweets!

Your file fixed the radios for me Falcon. I am not seeing your nose up attitude in descent though.

I used to love the sound of them.....I saw the Irish Air Corps "Silver Swallows" team (equipped with Fougas) on numerous occasions. I was always impressed at their polished displays considering the lack of raw power in their mounts....definitely a case of excellent energy management.:)

Another thumbs up from me, Tim :ernae:

Hi everybody,
What can I say more? Ferry_vO is right, for the Restauravia's Fouga and Zephyr, it's highly recommended to use the Mikko Maliniemi's soundset.
So it should be the same for the "Paris".
To my own point of view, Mister Piglet made (once again) a very good work!! :medals:
And, once again, I love his paintjob: this bare metal effect/rendering is great!

Thank you Tim for this brillant "aeronavale" release, I appreciate!!:ernae:

Regards,
Sylvain

Ok, it may have been the lack of sleep or the grilled cheese sandwich. . . .or both. . .lol. That's minor anyway, I'm usually watching the VSI more. Glad the file worked. If I had looked at the cfg file sooner I could have just said. . ."change "dark" to "radio" and been done with it, lol.
