Anyone else here a fan of this band..?

They make rock music heavily inspired by the great bands from the seventies, including Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, the Doors, AC/DC, etc.
I liked their first album, but I absolutely love their second, 'Cosmic egg', and I just got tickets to see them in January!!

The first video from their new album:

And you might know this one from their first album:

My kid turned me on to them a few years ago. Not to often I rock out any more but they are a great band to do it to:wiggle::applause:.

Their new single reminds me of the Doors....not bad though.

I still like "Joker & Thief" best. The first sixty seconds are mindblowingly awesome!

I saw them on pinkpop.
Stood in the moshpit :kilroy: Great band.
Where are they playing in January?

The 013 in Tilburg Rob, on January 26th.

Great venue btw, been there about twelve times already. Always a good atmosphere, good sound and a good view on the stage.

Awesome, Ferry!

Slowly getting warm with their new album as well. :)

Bjoern, I like their first album, but I love the second one!
Songs like 'Cosmic Egg', '10,000 feet', 'In the castle' and 'Sundail' already sound good on CD, but live they absolutely rock! :d

Hehe.

So far, they're not much of a godlike revelation to me (my interest lies in more alternative tunes), but Wolfmother is always good for a clean, honest rock out. :d
