Actually, the addition of the wireframe was an excellent idea. Makes it so much easier to match things up. Very cool little airplane Robert. . .thanks!

Panel Lights?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious in this great little plane, but I can't seen to turn on any panel lights...Suggestions welcome! Again, a great little plane and fun to fly...

Steve, I actually designed it to be daytime only...but if there is enough demand I might whip up some lighting for it :kilroy:

Guys, I have discovered that I messed up on the material settings on the external texture. It has no shine! :redface:

Fortunately it was an easy fix in the Gmax material settings. Obviously there will be an update to correct this for you. Right now the other things I am looking at include night lighting and reworking the way I did the prop to accommodate those of you who would prefer wood over the current composite one. :d

Hmm I have to say that I don't really like those textures :/ Or maybe... it's just the lighting.
One other thing, just about that: could you edit the VC textures so that the part underneath the dashboard (where the rudder pedals are) gets darker ?
So far this area of the VC has the same lighting as the rest of the cockpit. Even if this is a small plane with a relatively huge canopy, I believe darkening this part would create a nice visual impression. What do you think ?
 
I agree - darkening the lower forward cockpit floor would greatly improve the look of it...also - the grey carpet effect might look better if the scale of the particulates was reduced - more like speckles of sand than of pebbles, if that makes sense.

Actually I don't think that's carpet, that's the seat cushion and armrests that are that darker color.

I like the overall look of it mainly because it looks like what a small composite aircraft interior would look like. Nice job.
 
Its not a carpet effect, Its more a specked paint effect like car trunk paint. One reason it looks light is I have all my setting on low, no shadow, no light bloom, any way its just for me I"ll do it any way I want.hehe
