Scat III

jankees

SOH-CM-2025
With all these P-38's floating around, it was of course only a question of time before I'd tackle one of the 'Scat' s flown by Capt Robin Olds. Scat III was the one in which he scored all of his P-38 kills, reaching ace status.
These are a few WiP shots, you'll notice things as non matching stripes, the wrong Scat number, etc, which will all be sorted of course..

Awesome, Jan! A fitting tribute your paint is, to an icon of military aviation. Robin would approve, I am sure.:medals::icon29::guinness::applause:

By the looks of it, he is doing the scheme for both models, as both are pictured. Excellent job on these thus far Jan Kees!

Yep, he sure is. Wonderful! It's kinda like looking at identical twins, but then you start to see the "personalities" in each. ;)

Indeed, for the both of them. SU on the left, FSD on the right.
Is there anybody else who has both models?
They will not be completely identical, they are different models, and all the images I have show different details, but both look nice I think?
