Ships - open to suggestion...

To all,

One of the Beaufighter missions has you attacking a pre-war Italian passenger liner traveling between Trieste and Venice. Does anyone have a ship in mind that could possibly fit this description?
 
Passenger Liner

I've often thought that we could use a passenger liner for CFS 2. It could be painted to represent any number of troop ships used during WW II and Korea.

As I recall, I had one based on the Titanic for CFS 1, but that was a while ago. I wonder if one could be converted from an FS format.
 
that is a good idea Cody, very similar profile. I will dig to see if any others show up anywhere.

I think Cody Coyote's got it right. The USS repose looks like the best option. Would someone be willing to make a repaint for me?

Hey Rami,

Someone has to and it might as well be me. Maybe you'd rather hang from the yardarm or walk the plank with a chain and lead weight. Now that's really yanking your chain. :icon_lol:

Some time back Wolfi had a screenshot of a port with some of his library objects and it had a liner in it, it may be his or from somewhere else.

If you want a generic liner, I could build you one. In fact, I have a 'tweakable' troopship among my many unfinished projects.
 
Actually...I looked at the Hospital ship last night, and that appears to bit the bill nicely. However, I certainly don't want to discourage future work. Let's see what you got!
