Question of the Day

..and this is different from my normal life how? :running::icon_lol:

I'll pass!:173go1:

I know a fellow who does that in regular basis...and (get this) he does it to "find his inner primal feels"..i´m NOT s***ting you on this one..Sure, I (and some other friends) do show up with a hose, some beers and flea shampoo when its time to wake him up and get back to current times(footnote:this guy is LOADED, and i mean serious $$$..)
Now, where do i sign up..30 big ones for being filthy is a deal i can´t pass on..

AYE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine going more than a week without a shower and the other things.

Absolutely I'd do it. All that funk can be washed off after 90 days. But - careful with any nicks or scrapes on your skin, as the bacteria level will be off the scale with infections much more likely in any open wound !!

i worked with a guy like that a looooong time ago. one day at lunch i didn't want to smell him, so i moved up wind. he realized what was up and moved to counter. i fixed him good that very afternoon. he never gave me any more trouble after that. :icon_lol:

No way....I'm too fond of my "comforts" these days. I've done the whole camping trips, rock/dance festivals thing...and thoroughly enjoyed it at the time.:ernae:

I remember a new guy who started out working in our company a few years ago. He was assigned to work alongside me for a few days to learn the ropes. From afar he seemed like an affable chap...very respectable looking. It was only when you were up close that you realised the distinct aroma of BO! Being an easy going, non confrontational guy (at the time!:monkies::icon_lol: ) I put his immediate hygiene issues down to the fact that this was his first day, and he was perspiring a lot?!
On day2 he arrived for work....alas still cloaked in a pungent smell. It was obvious that this guy was part cat, in that he was afraid of showering! The smell was foul....almost choking! Cue KD storming off and requesting that the new guy be moved elsewhere and given a few lessons in personal hygiene before I snapped completely and dragged him outside to hose him down! The manager laughed at first...but realising that I was completely serious, re-assigned the newbie to another section!:monkies:

..oh gee, let me think a minute..

After I get the $30,000 I can pay my doctor and dental bills as a result of poor hygene and dental care for 3 months. That should leave me... :isadizzy:

Nope. Guess not.

+1! :running:

It'd actually be fun to have a question of the day everyday. Just something to get a conversation going. :kilroy:

I nominate C9G as the Question of the Day Girl! :)

All in favor say Aye!

Opposed say Nay!

I will be happy to post a "Question of the Day" to get the "conversation going". It might not be every single day, but I will try to post a couple of questions a week.

All of you are such good sports! Thank you for participating! You make this fun!! Plus, I learn so much from all of you and I laugh even more at some of the anecdotes you share!

Any of the old Navy hands here remember what a ki-yi brush was and what we used it for? :d

Wait a minute Tarps.....you can't just leave me hanging and wondering what the heck a ki-yi brush is??

My curiosity has been piqued !

I would probably do it... even OT is hard to come by nowadays.

No way, not worth the money to me to be that uncomfortable and I practically live check to check. Heck I can barely make it through a day without brushing my teeth 4 times and flossing. :icon_lol:

I've went a week or two on water hours when at sea and our distilling plants broke down. I don't think Mrs Willy would let me stay in the house if I missed a day now.
