• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Hi All

Disclaimer: Do this at your own risk.

Go HERE to get the instuctions on how to do this. I used it long ago with vista, but I just tried it now on Win7 and I reclaimed over 100GB on my 1 TB Drive!!! :jump:

Enjoy

Ben

Can't you just use the control panel to clear out your system restore points, then set the maximum size to use to 1% (the lowest available)?

In Win7 it's control panel\system\system protection. Then hit "configure", you can then delete all system restore points to free up the space, and set the slider to the minimum amount of space to use as possible. You can also disable system protection entirely if you don't want to deal with the hassle of clearing out system restore points again in the future.

Okay thanks. Must admit though that it is limited to only control %.

Thanks
