On the port side the lettering is reversed. I am hoping that Carenado will fix that and make two separate textures.

Actually I think they once said in an email to me that doing just that increases FPS somehow. I don't know the technicalities of it. Or maybe it just makes things easier for them...

One more texture will ABSOLUTELY NOT impact FPS. It is 2010. I can count the percentage of people using FSX on P4's with 64mb graphics cards on a single hand. One more texture will NOT make a difference anymore.

I just made a post over at the avsim carenado forum (yep they have one now)

The port sided is mirrored. There is not a valid reason for this continued practice at this point in time.

Yes, I would love to see one of those as well. Classic style. Pain to see out the front when taxiing.

I have pictures here somewhere of a beautifully restored C-195, guy even added the wheel pants. All polished aluminum with original red striping.

Oh! A quick Google search found this pic from an Arlington, WA fly-in. Would be the right area, looks like right plane....
