There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

So, like he didn't have enough room to land on the rwy, he had to go on an excursion out on the back 40 to stop it? lol, I mean, how fast does a Tiger Moth go... 40 maybe 50 mph, lol, lol. Geeeze what a maroon.
Hmm, ok, then the distance it "appears" that he travels beyond the rwy must be exaggerated because of the fisheye camera angle. . .looked like he flew for miles beyond the rwy. Yea, sad to say, but in that case, the cow was expendable! He lost power immediately on take-off and had to set it down...I say he did the right thing, despite the cow tipping.![]()

Yeah, during his climb out, about 20 sec into the clip, the engine sputters and he lost all power. Think the carbuerator fouled if I remember.
He said he never saw the cow, I'm sure it was under the nose at that point.
Plus he was focused on avoiding a wire fence. You can see him do a quick little hop with the Moth prior to hitting the cow.
Actually the cow was fine, it ran away after dropping, and rolling.![]()
