When I think of a Tiger Moth I always think of this clip.

So, like he didn't have enough room to land on the rwy, he had to go on an excursion out on the back 40 to stop it? lol, I mean, how fast does a Tiger Moth go... 40 maybe 50 mph, lol, lol. Geeeze what a maroon.

He lost power immediately on take-off and had to set it down...I say he did the right thing, despite the cow tipping. :icon_lol:
Hmm, ok, then the distance it "appears" that he travels beyond the rwy must be exaggerated because of the fisheye camera angle. . .looked like he flew for miles beyond the rwy. Yea, sad to say, but in that case, the cow was expendable!

Yeah, during his climb out, about 20 sec into the clip, the engine sputters and he lost all power. Think the carbuerator fouled if I remember.
He said he never saw the cow, I'm sure it was under the nose at that point.
Plus he was focused on avoiding a wire fence. You can see him do a quick little hop with the Moth prior to hitting the cow.
Actually the cow was fine, it ran away after dropping, and rolling. :icon_lol:

That cow wasn't hit. It did a very well executed combat roll and lived to tell about it. Problem is it doesn't trust a damn human anymore.

Lovely aircraft Anthony.

Looking really great Anthony! As I love camo paint the first shot is my favourite!

Cheers,
Huub

I have never been a huge fan of British aircraft, however I have ALWAYS loved the curves of the Tiger Moth. The Moth has always been one of my favorite aircraft, and I have never been able to pin down exactly why. I guess the mystique of a plane caught between the ages, a biplane trainer envisioned from post World War I ideas, plopped directly into WWII pilot's hands. Simply beautiful.

I'm rather looking forward to this release. Shame Aeroplane Heaven never finished theirs to FSX standards.

[EDIT] We have a little Tiger Moth at the Pearson Aviation Museum just NW a few miles from where I live. While I enjoy many of the planes in that museum, I was absolutely excited to have learned they also had one.

Ant doing aeroplanes? Brilliant! This plane looks absolutely awesome! :ernae:
Ant is already the master of awesome, frame-rate-friendly airports that are essential add-ons!

Two wings RULE. :jump: Beautifully done Ant. You've really worked your magic on this baby.

Up till now I've been as happy as larry with the Just Flight Tiger Moth. But I can see that that aircraft will be retired to static display now that I will be able to fly your version. :)

I spend a lot of my time out at Temora Aviation Museum , which during WWII was home to No.10 EFTS Training School, equipped with 97 Tiger Moths. The Aviation Museum still have one flying there in mint condition, giving displays each month. :) A beautiful aeroplane in flight.

Just for interest sake, here's a picture of Temora, with TM's lined up.
