Hey Henry...right there with you! I was just a youngster when the Saints became a team and for Louisiana, I remember it was a big deal. Every merchant around Bossier City was passing out Saints window decals and the like.

Congrats to the Saints !:ernae:

Saints won the coin toss. Saints win the game.

Coincidence? I think not.

I HATE SUDDEN DEATH. It is like a slap in the face to all of the players who have worked their a**es off the whole game.

I am having a hard time believing we won. Since 1967 I have watched the Saints fold one way or another. Tonight, they found a way to win.

Minnesota fans, your team played one heck of a game. Too bad DESTINY was against you. There is no other answer as to why you didn't win.

GEAUX SAINTS!

Thanks Jmig -from a lifetime Vikings fan who as seen my share of heartache with the team. If I wasn't a Vikings fan I am sure it would have been a very entertaining game to watch. I hope your Saints get their Superbowl win!!! Payton Manning is great but he already has his so I wish your team luck....

The game was bought! Favre is a Saints fan from his childhood, he couldn't let his favorite team lose!

LOL! :bump:

Congrats to the Saints! :applause:

Now all ya gotta do is knock the Colts off ... PLEASE!

Yep, and he told me he could really use that $20, I slipped him when no one was looking.

:bump:

It's destiny, baby. That is the only way to explain the win. Brees was off all night, Bush stunk. Sure handed Colson thought the balls were hot potatoes. Yet, they won. DESTINY. The Colts are in trouble.

The whole time I was watching that game, I was catching myself pulling for both teams. LOL! On one hand, I wanted the Vikings to win because I have always admired Brett Favre- on the other hand, I wanted the Saints to win, because it's been a LONG time coming for them.

It was certainly an "edge of your seat" game. I'm glad the Saints won. I hope they win the SuperBowl! They deserve it!

So John, have you bought your NFC champions t-shirt yet? Or are you going to splurge on a SB Champions t-shirt instead?
