Carenado C185F Skywagon released !

35USD.....2 tickets for Avatar 3D did cost me more and neither was the movie as impressive as the L-19 nor did the fun with it last as long ;)

Heard the same arguement many times before. However, it's really comparing apples and oranges.
For the record, I typically don't see movies when they're first run as they cost too much as well. Wait a few weeks until they hit the matinee and pay 1/2 as much.

I'm kind of coming across as a cheapskate here - so be it. :mixedsmi: I'd guess people like me help to keep prices down somewhat.

Yep, I just tried again a little while ago and the payment went through with no problem. Must have been a problem with their server.

I just took the pretty little red/chrome version on a short hop from Victoria to Nanaimo, and I'm impressed. She flies nice and handles nicely on the ground. I can't wait to see some of the repaints that folks come up with. I'm looking forward to an Aussie version. Good job Carenado! :applause:

Why choose ? :bump:

I 2nd Kiwi's request. Also, can we get some close up VC screenshots (from users, not the developer)? Is there a spot to put the RXP Garmin units?

Thanks! :applause:

TonyG over at the FSE Forums has put the RXP guages in. He gonna post his config later tonight. I can pm you the settings if you would like.

Anyone else notice the exhast pipe vibrating around? Nice detail!!! :applause:

Dave

Yes - and one of the aerials vibrates.

I noticed on the seneca II that the static lines on the trailing edges also vibrated very relistically - but this has to be Carenado's best so far. :ernae:

I bought the Bird Dog and a couple days later upgraded to windows 7 from Vista without touching any hardware I was told my hardware had changed and I needed another key. They require you wait 2 weeks between keys but I emailed Sibwings and had a new key almost immediately. I wouldn't let that security thing get in the way of flying an amazing plane.

Thanks that would be nice, I use the GNS 430W. I don't actually have the plane yet but it seems like its a decent one and the FDE is believable.
