• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

3D contrails?

I remember there were some very nice 3d contrails a while back and after my reinstall I cant seem to find them, i searched here and found a post about the REX people releasing them but their website gives no info.

They are susposed to be in there somewhere as they posted, But I do not see them eighter.

post on their forums and ask WTF they are.....
 
Ok I just read where Tim has pulled them as to many people were complaining about something and he got tired of it ...
 
Keep hanging out ..you should be able to find someone with them that will send you the file...

Or post another thread here asking for the file..you will get it ...
 
Markus Brunner has a contrail changing program thing for FSX on Avsim (just enter his name into the search engine and browse the results).
Anyways, he recommends a FS9 contrail effect in his readme for the program which can produce some nice results in FSX.
