Weird Ezdok walk positioning

Hello everyone,

I regularly use Ezdok Walk to walk around my airplanes in FSX. I have been using this freeware for several months now and never had to report any problems. It is a very nice tool, as long as it works fine.
I got something weird today as the Ezdokwalk camera location doesn't match the airplane location anymore.
I checked the camera.CFG file and the camera/airplane coordinates match perfectly.
When I select "world walk camera" in the view menu, the view is relocated in the middle of the ocean. (see picture)...
I don't understand what is going on. I uninstalled (erase Ezdok lines from the Camera.CFG file) and reset it from a clean camera.cfg walk but nothing changed... Have you ever had this trouble ?

Just throwing out guesses.

The particular aircraft you may have been using may have that view in the aircraft.cfg file? In the cameradefinition section.

Thank You Scott for the guess; Actually, the problem is the same whatever airplane I use.
There is no line regarding EzdokWalk in the aircraft.cfg/camera section..

I erased camera.cfg (after backing up the original file) and restarted FSX. Problem remained.
I use Ezdok Version 1.22.

How could it remain if you deleted the camera.cfg. There has to be another file with that camera definition somewhere.

How did you back up the original and delete it? Did you save the backup to a different location or in the same location that camera.cfg resides?

Tell me the file location of your camera.cfg.

Hello Scott, My camera.cfg file is located there : C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX.
When I erase it, a new one is created when FSX starts up again.
I saved two camera.cfg files in two directories (one with the Ezdok lines, and one without). Just because I dont like to use Ezdok with the Track IR.

Magic! After erasing again the camera.cfg and restarting FSX and setting a new camera position with Ezdok, it is working. True mystery!
Thanks Scott anyway for your interest!

Is there a website for this? I downloaded the utility but there's no real documentation with it (other than a keyboard controls pic) to explain the use?
