Curtiss SC-1 "Seahawk" Uploaded

I just uploaded my version of the Curtiss Seahawk float plane to flightsim and simviation; should show tomorrow.
I created this FSX Acceleration project to have a companion for the SOC-3 Seagull which is also a catapult launch plane. I continue to use the rcbco-30 gauges for this purpose. I have a model of the P-6 catapult (on my version of the USS Idaho and other battleships) to which I added the Acceleration style catapult. Unfortunately, this is hard wired into the sim at 200 mph at 300 feet. I tried the SC-1 on it and it came off the catapult already very high and the nose almost straight up! Totally unrealistic for this vintage aircraft. One can adjust these values in the .cfg ini file for the rcbco-30 gauges. I set mine for 80 mph at 80 feet which gives the SC-1 a smooth straight out take off. Also works very nice for the SOC-3!.
I have added a few screenshots, including a birdseye view of the VC.

Cheers, Paul

Oh boy! That sure looks great Paul. I have had a lot of fun flying your airplanes and have been looking forward to this one. Thank you for all of your hard work.

I've always wanted one of these. I always figured you or Tim would eventually get around to it. Thanks! :)

hi..got a problem..i tried to load this in to fsx at C39 folsom lake in the cockpit VC mode and it crashes..says the aircraft is over stressed and then restarts..just does this over and over...any ideas?

I can't duplicate this problem on my system (even tried your location). I will investigate a little further; until then just turn off 'crash" in the sim. Does it only do it in the VC mode?

Just got the chance to install it and take it for a test flight, Paul. It's superb!

Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into building these great planes.
