Take a look at this web site. The April 1994 Fed Ex one sent shivers up my spine. There's a lot the public is not made aware of. Can you imagine doing a barrel roll at 400 MPH, in a DC-10, while your head is crushed in?

Some of those make all the little hairs stand up...skipping to the CVR transcript without knowing the crash outcome can be downright terrifying.
First time I've seen the CVR of the 1979 Air NZ Erebus disaster, too.
 
Need to work through that one, appears to have lots of accidents not accounted for on Wikipedia.
