Depthcharges for Ist Catalina pair

BeauBrummie

Home for tea and tiffin!
I'm afraid these pair have had another trip to the vets as it was revealed to me that when the chaps built her they omitted to included DC's from the loadouts. So here are the once again corrected XDP files.

Thanks to Mel (RCAFMAD) for diplomatically letting me know. Now if I'd had time to make some missions I'd have found this out. :isadizzy:

Apologies to all concerned and I seriously hope I don't have to do this again. This doesn't affect the Hornell Cat, I caught it in time for that Canso.

Always Upwards Mate. :pop4: Don't forget to delete the old .bdp files when correcting (overwriting) the .xdp's, before restarting CFS3.

NOTAM : This revision also now places all three aircraft into the "BRN" Livery in the ETO Expansion when done.

They shouldn't be "BRN" aircraft. They are RAF Coastal Command!

Good to have the depth charges, though.

And the names have been changed - much better! :jump:

Actually, I'm wondering about suppressing some of the useless nationalities such as Spain, and replacing them with different RAF Commands. That way, I'll have my bombers here and my fighters there, and my Coasties all in one place with the Navy, and then... Well, it's an idea!

Personnally, I have different aircraft folders, I just rename them manually depending which aircrafts I want to fly. It takes less tim to load CFS3 and it's much easier, I don't spend too much time to find the aircraft I want to fly.:
W40
MTO
ETO (CC aircrafts are in Royal Navy section in order to not overload the British one such as they've done in ETO but in missions, the pilot and aircraft are always setup as RAF)
MTO
TOW
ETo_Ori (stock ETO V1.X aircraft folder)

Good idea there. I don't even use ETO any more, for that very reason, among others. I simply cut bits off and use them in other installs, precisely because full ETO takes too long to load, and some of the ETO mods are so resource-heavy that either my computer locks up completely (ui music and certain airfields) or goes into slideshow mode...

The plan once ETO 1.3 has been released, is to release a number of new aircraft ready for stock CFS3 with all the ETO weapons, pylons etc they'll need. Nationalities will be changed to one of the three stock, leaving it for folk to customise to their install.

Jeff, just e-mailed you with mos files for the four Cats - feel free to distribute at will! They wouldn't upload here in the thread unfortunately.

gotcha mail Nigel. Thanks for this.:salute: I'm getting quite a dab hand at uploading Cat alterations:icon_lol:
