Sim Meets Reality

Who's up for some video of planes? I went out to Stark's Twin Oaks last weekend, when the weather was just way more gorgeous than it has a right to be in Oregon's February, and dragged along my camera. We see a lot of screenshots and videos of FS scenery projects, but it's rare that we get a glimpse at the real deal. Here's what I cobbled together with my meager vid skills:

That was really cool. I enjoyed that, thank you!!

Ha ha...love the "snap" out of reality to sim right at the end. Great little movie Bill!

Great video
Thanks

Great video! I like the very end hehe ;)

A question - will you have to own FTX PNW to have this airport, ie will it look dumb with default terrain/texures ?

Thanks! And no, you don't have to have the PNW scenery, strictly speaking. Twin Oaks will work on its own, and blends fairly well into the default terrain. The airport sits on a patch of aerial imagery w/4-seasons + night, and includes its own terrain mesh as well. Using the PNW really amps up the experience, though.

Took the stress right out of my day....I got to enjoy some of that nice NW weather we had last weekend as well. Nice job on the video as well as the sim...first class.
