NOTICE: Problem found with two ETO 1.30 aircraft following release

:kilroy:To all,

I have been informed by one simmer here that there are a couple of problem with two of the new ETO 1.30 aircraft.

I have just confirmed this.

The two aircraft are:

1. ETO_spitnor_9e (in-game name: Spitfire IXe 132 Wing): The problem only affects bomb loadouts, and the sim will lockup or CTD when any bombs are selected. The rockets and droptanks work perfectly with now problems.

2. ETO_ju88_Fin (in-game name: Ju 88A-4R LeLv44): The aircraft cannot be selected without the sim locking up.

We ask that you not use these aircraft until we provide a fix for them.

We, the ETO/PTO Development Team, The Groundhogs, ofer our heartfelt apologies for this inconvenience.

Thank you for your support.

thanks for letting us know, Grizzly50.

I find cagen1-1.xls a very useful tool for identifying ALL aircraft/weapons/pylons xdp mismatches with a single click of a button.

Looking forward to installing 1.3 :jump:

:ernae:Thanx for the heads up Griz, Will avoid those two until fixed.

First I'd like to say nice job on the ETO guys! The submarine needs to be more stable. It always wants to blow up after sailing around for a bit.

MMMmm.. I've just in the process of making a small mission set for it and I haven't yet noticed that. It is somewhat unstable to 'drive', but I have sailed around a small convoy and sunk a few ships. It is vulnerable to escort ship shell fire, even from a corvette. They will accurately fire on the U-boat whether it's on the surface or not, and they're not affected by nightfall, which the subs relied on heavily.
