Bembridge - Isle of Wight

SOH-CM-2025
Bembridge Airport - EGHJ, located 2.3 nm northeast of Sandown.
The airport is home to the aircraft manufacturer Britton-Norman, part of the B-N Group which operates the airport. The European assembly plant for Cirrus light aircraft is also located there. There is also a Gliding Club operating from the south side (Vectis Gliding Club).

As is always the case with my scenery, there are no custom buildings and no seasonal ground textures, only seasonal autogen, so flying mostly in the Spring and Summer is recommended. There is also a Night Map as pictured below for night flights. I'll get this zipped and posted in the morning sometime.

Awesome airfield Ed!

Love the placements of scenery objects. Really gives it that look of realism.

Thanks Bill. This was just a shot in the dark really, I was looking for a small airfield to do to get back into doing some scenery and I was lucky enough to grab a nice clear photoimage. That doesn't always happen, lol.

That looks great, really blended in a treat. Now all we need is the AS Islander (which was developed and built there for many years) to really set it off.

Yep, it appears, despite all the talk to the contrary that the Islander is no more.
In just a bit, I'll be uploading three new airports: Bembridge, Woodford and Eastern Iowa. Just have to make sure I have all the object libraries included where necessary.:salute:

Thank you, Ed! I just downloaded them all, and will be off to have some fun! ;)

Edit: Currently Ed, you have the same link posted for Woodford as you do for Bembridge.
