I uploaded my version of the Douglas XB-19 to flightsim and simviation this afternoon. It should show tomorrow. I finished this a couple of weeks ago, but we were out of town for a few and when we returned I got too interested in the next project to get around to uploading it.

Cheers, Paul

Looks great! Is there any chance, over time, you'll be doing the later upgrade with the inline engines?

Nice shots! May I ask what scenery is in the pics?

Thank you Paul. That was at KEDW, Edwards AFB. Based on your comments on the XB-19's take-off run, I thought it best to have a nice long runway for the first flight. Lightly loaded, the airplane did not need that much room as it lifted off in good time. The XB-19 flies just as you described, very stable and stately. Thanks again for another great airplane.

Thank you Paul for this great aircraft! I spent some time flying it last night, and happened to find this link to a movie showing the XB-19 flying, a couple of days ago. Look toward the end of the movie, and the date given for the title is wrong - it is certainly sometime in 1943, given the markings and types of aircraft being tested. Footage showing the XB-19 in flight has to be very rare.
