And another new series on the way...

With the jumbling of insignia, FAFL decal, and invasion stripes, I'd swear it was some kid's model that went horribly wrong during the painting stage. What an unusual combination! Good work Nigel

Thanks, Craig - I think they were trying to show which side they were on! Strictly historical. I've got an Italian one in the pipeline for today.

not yet, where can I find´em?

Bulgarian Pre-war one is at Reg's. Goodness knows where the others are. Was there a Bulgarian wartime one with MAW, anybody? My install is so modified I haven't a clue what came with what.

Anyway, here are the two that I can find. There are also Greek and Turkish ones at Reg's.

I could have sworn I'd done a Bulgarian wartime one... May have got lost.

One or two bits of final fiddling round - service dates, that sort of thing - and it'll be up during the day.

Obviously slightly subject to interpretation, as the paintschemes used on Italian D.520s was largely determined by the way in which the French had interpreted their own markings - often wildly inaccurately! But this corresponds as far as possible to what I feel they must have looked like, based on a number of photos. Some were repainted completely, however.

I bet you didn't know how many different schemes there are for this thing! I certainly didn't.

Anybody know whose this one is?

Getting towards the end here. Can anybody tell me of a major user of the D.520 who has not been covered yet? There is one...

Hi Nigel,

I can't answer your questions anymore Nigel, but what a nice job you did !
I enjoy groupe Doret airplanes and their rare and original markings, this
group uses also Ju88 to bomb german resistancy pockets, and surely other
airplanes models...

Good day sunshine !

The Aeronavale I hadn't thought of separately... But the Luftwaffe is being covered right now!

Ju-88, GM-167, DB-7,Po63-11..... Ne me lance surtout pas!

all of them are wonderfull, really!

and the missing user is...... can't remember actually, I would have to find in my old Aerojournal magazines.

Nigel... you may want to double check these. I just had a bit of a "find the D.520" going on as for the life of mine I couldn't find the player version of the CFP model. The AI was at the end of the US list where it belongs. Some CFS3 restarts and a good deal of head scratching later I pinpointed the problem to the Aircraft.cfg, you have two [fltsim.0] entries in it and the latter one is overriding the former.

Just as a tip for those who may have the same problem.

Actually, Grizzly got it - the Luftwaffe! Although the Aeronavale is valid, too. I can't actually find an example, which doesn't help. There's one (AC2?) somewhere in my archives, but I can't find the thing.

That'd be a help - thanks! Nothing too artistic, though - a lot of Vichy D.520s had a rather artistic interpretation of the cowling stripes which is simply not possible on this model, without spending several days lining it all up. That makes things rather more complicated.
