Official Kickoff: Agusta AG-109 Helicopter Project

Roadburner440

On to some Milviz news, we have started work on an Agusta AG-109 helicopter for one of our partners. This model was started by a different company, and will be enhanced a lot over the next few weeks. We are aware the main landing gear is wrong, and that there are no screws and such on the cockpit. As always feel free to comment, and thanks for taking the time to look.

yeah i've always been a fan of the 109, especially with the retracts but a 109 is good none the less...

SWEET!! can never have enough FSX native helis!! :ernae:

Well, if you decide to put a hoist on it for a SAR operations, and have a separate ambulance version, I'll bite. :jump:
And I'm not too proud enough to admit if you need someone to test it I'd be happy too. (Gotta try) :icon_lol:

The only version planned at this time is the E (Civilian), though we might well add a hoist... There are a ton of variants of this one out there so...

We'll see. Right now, we're working on getting the VC done up in insane detail. You know, SERIOUS detail...

Mwaahahahahahahah....

kc.

cool as a jewel pal! looking forwards to them images when they get shown, having been Pax my eye will be scrutinising every little thing :icon_lol:

great work... keep it up guys :ernae:

Now I'm worried :eek::eek::eek:

I'm with Dain, an EMS version and an SAR version with hoist are on my wishlist also.

Don't be worried. A SAR version is a likelihood. An EMS... well, we'll have to see.

As for who is doing it, it's sure looking like the Nemeth's. We do like working with them so...

Very nice! Back in my firefighting days I once set up a landing zone for the NJ state police medevac which I believe is a 109.

While I am not really a whirlybird type I can still appreciate a good looking mesh when I see it. Knowing that Milviz has it's hands on it only tells me it will look better than it does now!

We are looking into the many different variants out there. I saw a nice looking paint on google for a civilian one, but I see it is in many different roles around the world. It is ultimately up to what the end product winds up being geared toward which is still to early to tell. Glad to see the interest in this one. Can't wait to get at the controls myself.

RNZAF

Our airforce is getting these great timing will be a good insite on how they handle:ernae:

Actually, the NJ State Police use a Sikorsky S-76, which is similar looking indeed.
But thank you for mentioning Jersey's NorthSTAR and SouthSTAR medivac S-76's.
I would LOVE to see a native S-76 for FSX as well as the A-109. :jump:
(Yeah I'm greedy for FSX helicopters :icon_lol:)
