Just uploaded to flightsim.com is a repaint of Carenedo's T-34B. This one painted to represent a T-34B assigned to Quantico. The real airplane is sitting at the Marine Aviation museum at MCAS Miramar. I've included a new panel to better reflect B model panel.

HI. Great! What's the filename? I don't see it yet at Flightsim. Regards, Bob.

I drive by it every day on my way to work...they have a nice collection including an old SkyKnight...

Looks like a Mud Marine special. All good and dirty too. :jump:

I love that airplane. I was able to get a few hours in one many many years ago. When ever I have a non-pilot (real or sim) who flies my cockpit, that is the first airplane I put them in. It is slow and easy to fly plus it has the feeling of a real airplane.

It's up!

Thanks

For some %*&#&*#*#& reason, I can't get the repaint to show up. I followed the usual procedure for installing the files......but can't find the problem yet. GRRRR.

did you also place the panel.usn folder into the Carenado T-34 main folder?

That was my mistake, I guess. The Readme file said, "Place the panel.usn and texture.quantico files in your MentorNavy folder", so I had not placed it in the main folder as well. But that fixed it. Thanks!!!!

Thumbnail fix

Did you put the files into the Mentor navy folder? Apparently I forgot the thumbnail for the repaint so here it is

I tried to fix this a differeent way - using a thumbnail utility that inserts a screenshot picture directly into the applicable texture folder and it didn't work. Then I discovered that the texture.quantico folder had "read-only" attributes. It was easy to change but was not obvious at the beginning.
